Advancing Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food (ACAAF)
Advancing Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food (ACAAF) is a five-year, $240 million program announced in 2004 to position Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector at the leading edge and to help producers seize new opportunities. Funding for the program is provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.

Alberta's $29 million share is administered by the Agriculture and Food Council. Alberta ACAAF funds eligible projects conducted by industry stakeholders contributing to new directions within the agriculture and agri-food industry.

Alberta Beef Producers
The Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) is a producer directed and funded organization working to strengthen the sustainability and competitiveness of the beef industry for the benefit of its members. Grassroots direction and feedback is provided through producer meetings held throughout the province every fall. The ABP is overseen by a delegate body elected at these meetings. The ABP operates under provincial legislation which outlines the basic structure, objectives and powers of the organization and provides for a check-off on all cattle marketed in order to finance lobbying, marketing and public relations activities.

Alberta Livestock Industry Development Fund (ALIDF)
The Alberta Livestock Industry Development Fund (ALIDF) is a not-for-profit company that was founded on a collaborative mandate developed by nine livestock industry organizations and supported by the Alberta government. The ALIDF, an industry vehicle for innovation, takes raw ideas and enthusiasm and focuses it on the health and productivity of the industry.

Farmers, researchers, processors, retailers and consumers all play key roles in how livestock issues, and production of food and non-food products are approached. Collectively, this achieves a more innovative, humane and socially responsive industry in which consumers may remain confident.
